Made in China: three words that encapsulate many preconceived notions: shoddy workmanship, imitation, poor quality. This series aims to break with this stigma and demonstrate that Chinese craftsmanship is now unparalleled and more deeply embedded than ever in our daily lives and modern consumption patterns. A photographic project in its contemporary form, it seeks to honor China's contribution to the major developments in the Western world, while also highlighting its role in producing a large portion of our favorite consumer goods for the world's leading brands. China and the paradox: between imitation and expertise, in contrast to a dependent and regressive West.
